ISC Software is a powerful system control suite which is the backbone of all msolv® systems. It’s a universal control interface for inkjet and laser systems which allows users to simplify their workflow. Our software is designed by engineers for engineers. It combines simple operation for both novices and advanced users alike, with the flexibility to handle any operation you may have. With an architecture that is modular, scalable, flexible and reliable, ISC allows for rapid deployment of a wide variety of different processes.
ISC’s built-in recipe editor stands as the interface between your product’s design engineers and your process engineers. It takes a drawing or CAD file of almost any file format and combines it with the process tool table to create efficient recipes with complete design file preservation. Whether you need smart tiling, an array for step-and-repeat, a single or half-board pattern; everything can be scaled and customized to make most efficient use of the process-heads of your machine. Our aim is to minimize your programming time so the real trick is ISC’s one-click recipe path optimizer.
msolv® software uses a sharp and professional interface aesthetic that is easy to use. We designed ISC to be simple with familiar navigation for our users, we know that no-one has time for software that doesn’t have “New”, “Open”, “Save” & “Save As” buttons. ISC is fast with a low-latency interface which is touch-screen compatible for the operator. Any real-time sequencing of tool operations, system monitoring functionality and data logging is easily within reach.
A pre-requisite now is the ability to configure your own unique user account levels: “Administrator” with full access, “Engineer” reserved for trained staff doing maintenance or tool setup and “Operator” for simple workflow & repeatable processing or anything in between. ISC has functions for calibration and diagnostics for advanced users. This includes direct control of the axis position, viewing and altering I/O states, visibility of all safety state information, with real time monitoring of laser parameters e.g., power meter. All of this gives you the confidence and assurance that all aspects of the system are operating correctly ready for accurate and high quality processing.
ISC has three main core software modules “Hardware”, “Utilities” and “Process” for configuring/monitoring the system components, editing parameters and running product through the system respectively. All settings and major screens are available in both “basic” and “advanced” views with interactive search bars – reduce the visual clutter and find what you need fast and frustration-free!
Automation is at the heart of msolv® systems, so you will need the option of integrating ISC with your facility’s Factory Host or Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Our software has ultimate flexibility working both with laser & inkjet but also multiple functions within a single recipe. Whether your system has automated or semi-automated load/unload, ISC can be configured for your needs.
The software incorporates the data from vision cameras and an array of sensors to detect changes in; vacuum, air, temperature, alignment, height or vibration. These allow the software to verify the substrate is present, calculate its position and test only with fully-operational laser. The options of 2 or 4 point alignment are critical features and ISC even allows you to simulate this feature which compensates automatically for warpage and shrinkage from previous process steps. All data recorded is fed back into the process to meet your required accuracy, repeatability and quality control specifications.
